• 於1982年獲取國加州州立大學臨床心理學碩士學位

• 於加拿大卑詩省大學研讀教育心理學 (12科中有10科A)

• 獲得加拿大政府的專上教育文憑。曾任教於多間政府及私人大學包括Kwantlen Polytechnic University and Trinity Western University。

• 現任臨床心理學家，處理個案包括智障、自閉症及過度活躍症等

• 過往曾分別於香港社會福利署、香港懲教署及香港復康會任職臨床心理學家超過十四年

• 在港，曾任香港大學專業進修學院保良局社區書院及公開大學講師，亦曾於浸會大學持續教育學院教授早期教育幼師特殊教育課程教導各種需要的學生，包括讀寫障礙、過度活躍/專注力不足、自閉症/亞士保加症及智障等。

• 專長找出孩童各方面發展及學習問題，對家長作出建議。做智商評估 (IQ Test) 最低價$2800 、讀寫障礙評估、過度活躍/專注評估及自閉症/亞氏保加症評估 - 所有評估均針對性地找出學習問題的成因及作相關的建議；另外，為了有助兒童性格方面的發展，對家長管教模式方面亦作出提議

臨床心理學家資歷 / 工作經驗

於1982年獲取美國加州州立大學臨床心理學碩士學位，關智冰女士於加拿大卑詩省大學深造，主修教育心理學，專注於智能評估和學習障礙評估及治療。此外，她亦獲得加拿大政府的專上教育文憑，並曾接受Dr. Minuchin及Dr. Iris Yuen-Fan Chan分別教授家庭治療及親子關係治療。從美國的臨床心理學課程中，關智冰女士曾學習性方面的輔導，並發表過有關性輔導的文獻。 

分別於香港社會福利署、香港懲教署及香港復康會任職臨床心理學家，她擁有超過十四年的臨床經驗。關智冰女士先後為多個政府部門及志願機構提供員工培訓及主持講座給予家長及職員，內容涉及自尊感、壓力處理及個案處理等。在任職期間，關智冰提供顧問及員工培訓與弱能人士工場及院舍。在懲教處任職期間，她致力發展小組輔導工作給年青罪犯協助他們走回正軌，同時，她亦訓練職員帶領這些小組。從美國的臨床心理學課程中，她曾學習性方面的輔導，並發表過有關性輔導的文獻。關智冰在港曾任香港大學專業進修學院保良局社區書院講師，亦曾於浸會大學持續教育學院教授早期教育幼師特殊教育課程教導各種需要的學生，例如讀寫障礙、過度活躍/專注力不足、自閉症/亞士保加症及智障等。關智冰現任臨床心理學家，處理個案包括智障、自閉症及過度活躍症等。 

關智冰女士專長於智能方面的評估及自閉症評估，對深入了解個人的思維及能力有濃厚的興趣、特別是協助有學習障礙兒童的發展及幼童成長。 另外，她也熱愛心理治療的工作，善長於家庭治療，年青人及成人心理治療，輔導家長管教子女及促進親子關係等服務。

Ms. Kwan received her Master of Science degree with focus in Clinical Psychology from California State University in 1982.  She also has studied a Master’s program in Educational Psychology in intellectual assessment and specific assessment of learning disabilities from the University of British Columbia.  In addition, she holds a Diploma in Instruction from the Canadian government qualifying her to teach at universities across Canada.  She has training in Family Therapy from Dr. Salvador Minuchin and Filial Therapy from Dr. Iris Yuen-fan Chau.   

Ms. Kwan has practiced as a Clinical Psychologist for over 14 years respectively in the Hong Kong Correctional Services Department, Social Welfare Department and the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation.  She has given many talks to parents and staff on issues of self-esteem, stress management and client management.  Working for the Social Welfare Department for almost 7 years, she provided services in consultancy and staff training for hostels and workshops for the mentally handicap.  At the Correctional Services Department, she developed a group program for young offenders to help them rehabilitate and also train staff to run the program .  During her Master’s degree program study, she has studied Sex Counseling and has published an article on the Sex Counseling in the Journal of the Western Pacific Orthopaedic Association.  Most recently, she has taught a Learning Disability Diploma course for Early Childhood Education teachers at Hong Kong Baptist University School of Continuing Education, giving lectures to teachers on how to teach students with various specific needs like Specific Learning Disability, Attention-Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism, Asperger Syndrome, Gifted and Mental Retardation. 

Miss Kwan is well-acquainted with assessment on Intelligence and Autism, in understanding a person’s cognitive functioning and abilities, and in giving advice on helping special needs children to have an all-rounded development.  She is also expertised in providing family therapy, psychotherapy for youth and adults, and in offering counseling for parents to deal with parenting issues.
